4/28/2017 · When lifting the foot off the gas, the vibration stops, even at very high speed (ruling out any tire or wheel balancing related issue). The vibration can be felt in the front seats, in the door and very slightly in the steering wheel . It is felt when the accelerating from full stop as well as when accelerating from high speed to higher speed.
3/18/2017 · When i accelerate from a stop, the car will shake (steering wheel, pedals and seat). Doesn’t do it all the time. Have been dealing with this issue for several months. Dealer brought a Subaru engineer in to investigate and found no mechanical problem although the focus was on the CVT. Nobody can feel the shaking except me, even family members.
12/3/2010 · Car has a vibration and stuttering noise that seems to come from the rear half of the car. I first noticed it after driving in the mountains and on some dirt roads. It only happens when the car is accelerating from a stop and the noise and vibration stops at 10 miles per hour. Happens 75 percent of the time and in first, second and reverse.
6/16/2017 · Had my local Subaru mechanic check it over before purchasing it and he gave it the all clear. I have, however, noticed that in 4th gear, the gear stick vibrates a bit. It’s only noticeable when accelerating and only in 4th gear. Looking through the service history, I noticed it has been in before for repairs under warranty for gear stick vibration .
