6/2/2010 · The Tseung Kwan O Line is a relatively new railway line. Most sections came into operation in 2002 and the Phase II Extension just opened in July last year. It can be noted that the performance of the Tseung Kwan O Line, both before and after the opening of LOHAS Park Station, has remained steady with train punctuality at 99.9%.

The Tseung Kwan O Line (TWOL) is the seventh MTR Line in Hong Kong. It is 11.9 km long with 8 stations. The line is coloured purple and is operated by the MTR Corporation.
I’ve already described the interchange with the Island Line at North Point and Quarry Bay in the previous post, once leaving these stations you travel under Victoria Harbour, the immersed tube tunnel opened in the late 1980s as an extension of the Kwun Tong Line, and remained part of that route up until the opening of the Tseung Kwan O Line.
